Im sure most of you have heard independent venues are being threatened to close their doors. these are venues that give bands like us a chance. theyre welcoming places where you get to see intimate shows and even get to know the artists. without these venues the entire ecosystem of live music would be unbalanced. @nivassoc is an organization on a mission demanding federal support for these venues and promoters. today I release “Mend the Morning Light” into today I release “Mend the Morning Light” into the world. you know, this last couple months has been transformative for all of us in some challenging ways. I hope this record can be good company in these times. I tried very hard to honor the vision I had for this album and was able to do so with the help of many amazing friends. gotta shout out @d3n5ity in particular for being there the entire journey, side by side collaborator. Kevin helped bring the vision from demos I made in my studio to colors I had imagined in my mind. I also want to shine light on all crazy talented musicians that were my comrades on this record. I hear all their beautiful personalities in the songs and it warms my heart. @tclaytonwelch @stevealo @dannyeisenberg7 @neatbeats @thewoodenlung @sgclimb @garrettreasoner special thanks to @bird.ee for her amazing art in the album. much love to @japhyriddle and @croulie for their imaginations and their hard work with all the videos. so happy to share this album with you. its my favorite recordings I’ve made and I hope you guys dig it too. thanks to all my friends and family who saw me through this.
